Thank you for your interest in becoming a Homestay Provider for Nelson College. Homestay families play a vital role in supporting our international students and helping them feel welcome, safe, and settled during their time in New Zealand.

To begin your application, please complete the online form and provide all required information. This will allow us to create a Homestay Profile for your family, which will be shared with the student, their family, and their education agent as part of the placement process.

As part of your application, you will be asked to review our Accommodation Guidelines and sign a Residential Caregiver Agreement.

Before you start, please ensure you have photos ready to upload. We require a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 photos, including:

• A family photo
• The exterior of your home
• The student's bedroom
• The student's bathroom
• Shared living areas (such as the lounge and/or kitchen)
• Photos of your family pets
• Any additional photos that help showcase your family and home

Photos must be in JPEG or PNG format and no larger than 3MB each.
